We're so happy to share a glimpse into the dreamy countryside wedding of Lizzie and Chris in Kington Langley, England. Lizzie, got ready in our stunning ethereal Isabella Robe, while her bridesmaids rocked the adorable Camillo robe in White with beautiful embroidery. Their rustic celebration was like something out of a fairy tale! Let's have a look:

Tell us a little about yourselves, what you do, what you love, what is unique about you and your relationship?

We're Lizzie and Chris - we've been together for 10 years, lived in Newcastle, Melbourne Australia, Brixton and now in Forest Hill, London. We love spending time with friends in London, food markets, festivals, travel and sport. We crossed paths when he was coaching slalom racing at Sunderland dry ski slope. I was SO bad at it and he definitely wasn’t interested in me, but a few months later we ended up going for drinks . We've recently got back from our honeymoon where we went hiking in Patagonia.

Tell us about your special day, was there a specific theme or style? Tell us a little about the setting, the styling and some of your favourite details.

We got married on 30th September 2023 at Kin House in Wiltshire. Neither of us are from the area, but we just loved the venue and once we'd seen it, we couldn't get married anywhere else .We tried to style the wedding to match the interiors of the venue (as it was one of the things we loved about it) but didn't stick to a specific theme. Our flowers by Tanya Lee Sutton. She created flower clouds, an amazing backdrop for our ceremony, did all the tablescaping for dinner and bouquets for me and my bridesmaids. My bridesmaids had different bouquets (they all had one flower from my bouquet so that it tied together). Our ceremony was really special. Had some of our best friends do readings - one read a passage from 'Everything I know about love' by Dolly Alderton, another read a poem by Pam Ayres called 'He Never Leaves the Seat Up', We did personal vows and the band (Saloon) played L.O.V.E by Nat King Cole for all our guests to sing along to during the ceremony.

How did you spend the morning of your wedding? How did you deal with the nerves leading up to the wedding?

We were staying at Kin House for the whole weekend, so the morning of the wedding day was very relaxed, but...I was nervous and didn't sleep much, so I went for a run so I’d feel fresh. There were 24 of us staying at Kin House - we all had breakfast first thing - they had the most delicious sausage croissants and bircher museli bowls. Still thinking about them!
I really enjoyed the getting ready part of the day - we drank loads of coffee, champagne and just chatted whilst we got our hair and makeup done. My bridesmaids made it really special too - they'd asked all the girls who came on my hen do to think of two songs - (1) a song that reminded them of our friendship and (2) a song that they love getting ready to. They then put all the songs in a photo album filled with pictures from the hen do and we played all the songs that had been chosen whilst we were getting ready.Chris got a barber to come and do shaves and beard trims and had an even more chilled morning with his groomsmen before guests arrived.

Tell us about your main outfits of the wedding day

Chris wore a Beggars Run suit (navy) and tie, Thomas Pink shirt, Loake 1880 Trinity shoes. I wore the bespoke dress and veil by Grace Lane, Loeffler Randall ROZ platform sandals, Maison Sabben earrings and then in the evening, wore sequin halter mini from Own Studio.I got ready in the dressing room of Kin House with my 4 x bridesmaids and my Mum (who all wore the Camillo robes that I'd got personalised with their initials) and I wore the Isabella robe (which coincidentally, really matched my veil!)

What items or services did you think were a waste of money? VS what are you so glad you splurged on?

So glad we splurged on our venue – as soon as we arrived there we enjoyed the weekend as if we were guests, and it was all so stunning. The band we had (Saloon) did their own take of ‘Just the Two of Us’ for our aisle song which I wish we had recorded because it was perfect, they got all our guests dancing during the drinks reception and the DJ Live set in the evening was so fun. Our cake got it made my Chris’ sister, which was more special than if we’d got one made by a professional and it tasted amazing. Guests would have had no idea.

Any advice you would like to give to future bride

Try to find suppliers that you genuinely get on with, it makes the whole process of planning your wedding so much more enjoyable. We were so happy with the suppliers we found. The number of decisions you need to make can get quite overwhelming – try not to make your life harder by trying to get everything perfect. Get a few quotes/ideas and then just make a decision rather than mulling things over for weeks on end. Send your invites digitally – its free, and you can make nice looking invites on platforms like Canva Steam your dress and bridesmaid dresses the night before - I didn't, and it was the only thing that stressed me out on the morning of the wedding.
